They developed their love for Italian cooking while working with Chef Mike Pirolo at Scarpetta and Macchialina, ultimately moving to Brooklyn to be the chef at The Saint Austere. After six years in New York, family brought Sam to Northwest Arkansas, where they opened Beretto, their own small Italian restaurant. Now Sam splits their time between Ft Lauderdale and Northwest Arkansas, operating Beretto as a dinner spot in the Broward Arts District and hosting various pop-ups around NWA.
